I knew there would be no dedicated haunt in my new Montana town this year (property owners are hard to reach here!), so in August I started realizing one of my earliest childhood haunted house (and later, film industry) dreams: propmaking! After talking with friends in the industry about the necessary materials and rudimentary techniques, I bought ’em and started my first hands-on haunted house/horror film propmaking. This old dog CAN learn new tricks, and they’ll be on display in upcoming haunts (and maybe movies) around the country.
